Amare La Cucina has brought
an innovation yet traditional technique to cook and eat food that everybody craves for any time of the day.

It first opened at their ancestral home at DPS Compound in Baguio City. Since DPS Compound was a residential area, he had to relocate their business. Through the persuasion of the young and persevered Edmark, AMARE re-opened on January 2014 at Lualhati Brgy, inside EGI Albergo Hotel. Edmark was neither into a scope of culinary nor an HRM course. He graduated BS Nursing and is a registered nurse in the Philippines and in the US.

All because of one man’s passion; the passion to pursue his love to cook and come up with the best taste there is to offer, paired with his effectivity in training and handling his people. He also started from scratch. This was when the couple decided to welcome brick oven food into their adventurous hearts.
Mr. Edmark never knew that this vacation would bring out an experience better than expected. He worked as a pizza maker. He learned how to stretch pizza dough with bare hands, cook inside a brick oven, and kitchen operations. He then thoroughly planned his next step. Luckily, he was able to open his very own food firm, the firm that gives you the utmost satisfaction, the firm loved by many; the “Amare La Cucina”restaurant.

There are varieties of food firms in the highlands of the Cordillera. As you go around the city of Baguio, choosing your next stop to dine might get a little tricky. Approaching up north, to visit some of the famous landmarks, Amare La Cucina awaits to serve you Baguio’s original brick-oven pizza. This is where you would get the real feel of being in Italy and where you would witness the
authenticity of cooking inside the “pugon” (Filipino term for brick oven).
Amare La Cucina is a family style, Italian inspired, casual diningrestaurant, which employs table service and offers a moderately priced menu.
Consistent with other branches, the general atmosphere of the restaurant will exude open and casual warmth, with wood and brick elements in the design.

Aligned across locations, the menu consists of a wide range of antipasti (appetizers), pizzas, pasta & desserts. The restaurant will also offer a Make Your Own Pizza experience where the skilled kitchen staff will teach customers how to knead, pull & toss the pizza dough, select from either set or custom toppings and bake them in the brick oven. The feature is open to both kids and adults.
